Full-time, above-award pay, Monday to Friday, straight 8-hour days, every week. No on-call, no after-hours roster, and a 2-week Christmas shutdown every year.
You'll interpret plans and specs, measure, cut, shape and assemble timber and materials, and keep a safe, clean site on every job. Often you're the only tradesperson a client meets, so the standard you leave a job at is the standard JFM is known for — and you're trusted to spot extra work worth doing and raise it, not just execute a fixed scope and leave.
This isn't a tick-a-box form. A couple of the questions below take real effort to answer properly — that's deliberate. If you're a trade-qualified carpenter after genuinely varied work and you're serious about it, ten honest minutes is nothing. If you're after the fastest possible application, this probably isn't the role for you.
