Send us the list. Doors that stick or won’t latch, loose handles and towel rails, a mirror or a TV soundbar to hang, handrails in the shower, a rotten skirting, a gate that drags. We quote the list and clear it in one visit where we can.
We paint what our carpentry touches and the rooms around it: a new door, patched walls, replaced skirtings, a room after repairs, fascias and weatherboards outside. It is done by the same team alongside the carpentry, so there is no second trade to chase.
Cracks, holes, water-damaged ceilings and the patch left after a cabinet comes off the wall. We cut out the damaged sheet, replace it, stop it up, sand it and paint it, and hang new cornice to match where it is needed.
A cracked tile, failed grout, or a shower leaking into the wall behind it. We replace tiles and regrout, and when a shower has leaked we strip it back, replace any rotten framing, waterproof and retile.
Grout and silicone fail quietly. By the time paint bubbles outside the shower, the plaster and sometimes the frame behind it are wet. We find the source first, with a flood test if we need one, then repair from the frame out.
A ceiling that dips has usually let go of its battens, often after a leak. We prop it, cut out the failed section, fix new sheet to the battens and stop it up.
After a leak, skirting boards swell and plaster grows mould. We cut out the wet section, let the wall dry, replaster, replace the skirts and paint.
Houses move with the seasons, and doors drop and catch. We plane and rehang them and seal the bare timber. Door problems on their own are on our door repairs page.

The cornice came down, the ceiling sheet was propped back up to the battens and the failed section replaced, then the cornice was rehung and the ceiling painted. A back door was replaced and painted in the same job. 2026.
The tiles and plaster in the shower stripped out, rotten framing replaced, Aquacheck plaster fixed, the shower waterproofed and retiled. 2026.
A kitchen ceiling and two bulkheads damaged by a leak from the bathroom upstairs, replastered, stopped up and painted. 2024.
