Curlewis’ commercial side is Bayview Central, the golf clubhouse on Portarlington Road, childcare and a community hub planned for the Jetty Road estates.
The Woolworths-anchored Bayview Central at 90 Centennial Boulevard is a 4,435 square metre complex with specialty shops, inside a 4.2 hectare commercial zone that also takes in Greenvale Drive, Sealark Way and Oceania Drive. Shops here need counters, shelving, partitions and repairs between tenants, done outside trading hours.
The $20 million Curlewis clubhouse and accommodation on Portarlington Road opened in April 2022. Its zone allows a residential hotel tied to the clubhouse. Hospitality buildings like these need decks, doors, joinery and repairs kept on schedule between functions.
Great Beginnings Curlewis is on Jetty Road. Council plans a child and community hub on Oceania Drive but has sought to delay it to about 2031. The corner of Portarlington Road and Tivoli Drive is marked for possible non-residential uses in the Stage 2 plan. We work across the Bellarine, including Clifton Springs next door.

Curlewis is still mostly farmland by area, and Coriyule, built in 1849, is its standout older building. Growth began around 2010, and the town grew from 618 homes in 2016 to 1,600 in 2021.
A neighbourhood shopping centre, a large golf clubhouse and more estates to come are why there is more commercial work to come.
