The Morongo homestead was built on Bell Post Hill’s prominent rise in 1859, became the Presbyterian Morongo Girls’ School in 1926, and passed to Kardinia International College in 1996. The state primary school opened in 1960, alongside two small neighbourhood shopping areas.
