We have done cladding and fit-off work for builders in Fyansford, and can fit out and repair industrial units on the Hamilton Highway and De Goldis Road and maintain the heritage buildings on Hyland Street. Land has been zoned for a town centre too.
Fyansford’s commercial side is an industrial strip, a limestone quarry, planned town centre land and a row of heritage buildings in the old village.
Both of our 2 Fyansford jobs have been for builders: battens, external cladding and straightening walls on new houses at lock-up, and a round of repairs in a finished home, with doors adjusted, plaster cracks patched, a tile replaced and painting. Fyansford has grown from under 200 people in 2016 to more than 1,200 in 2021, and builders need reliable trades for fit-off and handover repairs.
About 15.8 hectares is zoned for industry, with 89 addresses, most on the Hamilton Highway and De Goldis Road, and a 31-unit complex at 255 Hamilton Highway was added to the address register in 2025. The Batesford limestone quarry, with decades of resource left, and a landfill are also in Fyansford. Industrial units need offices, partitions, doors and repairs between tenants.
Land at 35 Hyland Street (4.79 hectares, Commercial 1 Zone) and 51–59 Hyland Street (Mixed Use) was reported sold in early 2022 with potential for a supermarket, shops and community facilities. In the old village, the Fyansford Hotel and the Barwon Paper Mills are on the Victorian Heritage Register, and the former post office and former Balmoral Hotel are heritage-listed.

Prompt, great communication and a terrific job. Have used JF Maintenance for lots of work over the years and would recommend.
Michael worked with our budget and we were so impressed by their diligence and workmanship. They did not cut corners but went the extra mile. So impressed we engaged them again at another property.
Beyond our expectations, and it was great to work with people who could turn our ideas into something better than we imagined. Couldn’t recommend them highly enough.
Fyansford grew around a ford on the Barwon, with paper mills, hotels and later the Geelong cement works, which closed in 2001. The estate on the quarry and cement works land has added more than 900 addresses since 2015.
Industrial units, a working quarry, a planned town centre and a heritage village are why the commercial work here is varied.
