Three of our 4 Bell Park jobs were commercial: putting up hoarding to isolate a food-services area for infection control, then removing damaged plaster and vinyl, cleaning mould and fixing new cement sheet with aluminium edging; installing a joinery unit at a clinic; and office repairs, with a fence fixed, handrails tightened and fixtures fitted.
About 37.7 hectares is zoned for industry, with 184 addresses on streets like Tarkin Court, Thompson Road, Kelly Court, Morgan Street and Furner Avenue, where the Geelong Incident Control Centre and VicSES office sit. Bell Park Plaza on Anakie Road and the Separation, Milton and Hughes Street strips make up the shops. On industrial land, a solid street fence over 1.5 metres or one in unpainted galvanised steel needs a permit.
North Geelong Secondary College, Bell Park North Primary, Holy Family, Nelson Park School (with a $10 million upgrade due to finish in early 2024) and the Geelong English Language School are all inside Bell Park, along with childcare, maternal and child health and retirement villages. A former school site on Barton Street sold in March 2026; council marketed it for medium-density housing, medical or aged care, or childcare.

Bell Park was named after the Bell Park homestead and settled from the 1950s. Industrial land was later extended, with council rezoning parts of Tarkin and Tobab Courts from residential to industrial.
